Being part of this program opened my eyes to the possibilities in the housing and construction industry

"I gained practical skills and discovered what I’m passionate about. The encouragement from instructors and peers gave me the push I needed to take the next step. As someone living with autism, I had previously attempted to move away and enroll in NSCC but struggled with anxiety. In this program, I found an inclusive learning environment and made meaningful connections that supported me as I transitioned. I’m now preparing to begin the Carpentry Program at NSCC Kingstec in the fall of 2025, and I feel excited for the future."
