COG Developments Inc. is a cornerstone of quality construction in the scenic Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. As Community Oriented Groundbreakers (“COG”), their mission is to create vibrant, sustainable communities as well as partner meaningful business ventures. Started by three local real estate investors with a combined 50 years of residential and commercial real estate experience, COG has delivered much needed developments such as Hibou’s Knoll in Kentville, Hilltop Apartments in Wolfville and Valley Self Storage in Wolfville Ridge.
COG is also working with Annapolis County Housing Association (ACHA) on an affordable housing multi-unit project in Middleton. For 2025, COG has plans for a 21-bachelor unit building in New Minas that will cater to local retail workers, as well as the next phase of Hibou’s Knoll which will bring an additional 48 units to Kentville and bringing the total number of units at Hibou’s Knoll to 82 units. Adjunctly, COG partners in a number of small businesses centered around construction and housing and has built a number of secondary suites.
Driven by a passion for excellence, COG prioritizes energy efficient construction, affordability and community cohesion.
Their approach fosters meaningful collaborations with key stakeholders, including partners, employees, suppliers, municipalities, and the broader community.
