We’re excited to share our newest workforce development initiative: the Modular Housing Construction Fundamentals (Modular Housing Readiness Pilot) program (MHCF)! This training program offers a paid, hands-on, industry-driven training experience designed to prepare participants for real careers in housing construction while directly contributing to Nova Scotia’s housing supply.
The MHCF 18-week program combines both the Tiny Home Construction Fundamentals and Tiny Home Construction Finishing Fundamentals programs into a single, comprehensive learning journey. Participants gain classroom instruction and hands-on experience while building a complete, two-bedroom, net-zero-ready modular home from start to finish.
