The Housing Construction Council were the training partners for our newly piloted program - Construct. The Construct program's mission is to connect individuals at risk or experiencing homelessness with employment through skilled trades. HCC spent a total of 6 weeks across our two cohorts, connecting the participants with hands-on training, certificates, and trades math skills for entry-level/direct-entry employment in HRM. Our participants have truly appreciated the opportunities to grow their knowledge, and connect with tradespeople in the province for meaningful and long-term employment.
