The Housing Construction Council (HCC) is dedicated to building a strong, skilled workforce by supporting both employers and workers through workforce development. Our council plays a crucial role in connecting employers with workforce development resources and guiding individuals toward meaningful career opportunities in the housing construction sector.
We partner with employers to address their workforce needs and provide tailored human resource coaching. Our services include:
Providing guidance on best practices in hiring, retention, and employee development.
Facilitating employer participation in programs such as the Workplace Innovation and Productivity Skills Incentive (WIPSI) and other funding opportunities.
Linking employers with successful graduates of trades programming including our very own, Tiny Home Construction Fundamentals program, for employment or further training opportunities.

Connecting job seekers with employers and training opportunities.
Preparing individuals for the workforce through:
Ensuring job seekers and tradespeople have access to industry targeted programming and resources such as apprenticeship, grants and scholarships, ongoing learning and tutoring support.
