The Construction Immigration Coalition is a collaborative group made up of key industry associations in Nova Scotia's construction sector. Its primary purpose is to address labor shortages by helping local construction employers recruit skilled trades workers and laborers from outside of Canada through immigration pathways.
The coalition provides employers with support in finding qualified international candidates, navigating the immigration process, and ensuring compliance with immigration requirements. Members of the coalition include organizations that represent various segments of the construction industry in Nova Scotia, such as:
Together, these organizations work with government bodies, such as the Province of Nova Scotia, to facilitate the recruitment of international workers, including participating in international recruitment missions. The coalition provides employers with resources, such as an International Recruiter, to assist them throughout the recruitment and immigration process.
